Description
Noxious Weed Trust Fund 2026 Emergency Grant Applications - Due by November 1, 2026
Emergency Grant funding from the Noxious Weed Trust Fund program can used to help combat noxious weed issues that may arise as a result of an environmental emergency: i.e. fires, new invaders, floods, etc.
Applicants can request up to $25,000 per project; this includes herbicide and seed purchases as well as application costs for both.
The deadline for application is midnight on November 1, 2026. (After the deadline, funding requests can be made through the NWTF Local Cooperative opportunities: deadline is January 6, 2027).
An ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT (EA) will need to be completed if your project is funded. Please write "EA will be completed at a later date" in the EA Component of this application if you are unable to complete your EA before the application submittal deadline. If your project is funded you will need to complete the required EA by midnight January 6, 2027.
